Itinerary
Pickup at your hotel or Airbnb in Oaxaca City. Meet your guide and receive an overview of the day’s route and experiences.
Enjoy breakfast in the town of Tule, home of the famous ancient tree, and start the day with local flavors.
Travel to Teotitlán del Valle, a community renowned for its weaving traditions and ancestral techniques.
Visit a workshop dedicated to traditional beeswax candles and learn about their symbolism, process, and role in local festivities.
Continue to Santa Ana del Valle, another important textile community in the Tlacolula Valley.
Participate in a textile and natural dye workshop in Santa Ana del Valle. Learn about cochineal, indigo, and other natural pigments used in traditional weaving.

Head toward Tlacolula, one of the main market towns in the region.
