Catrina Makeup Art & Mexican Culture
ALE SU ART is a creative house led by Alejandro Su, dedicated to Catrina makeup, visual storytelling, and contemporary interpretations of Mexican culture.
Originally trained in airbrushing, Alejandro began his artistic journey in 2014 through custom automotive painting. After developing an allergy to solvents in 2016, he transitioned into makeup — a turning point that led him to create some of the most iconic Catrina looks in Mexico.
Today, under the name @alesuart, his work blends makeup, airbrush techniques, textile illustration, creative direction, editing, and cinematic storytelling to build visual universes inspired by memory, identity, and Mexican heritage.
